– Exhibit Spotlights Work of Women Online and Raises Funds
for Haiti Earthquake Recovery –
The Mom 2.0: Defining a Movement exhibit will go on display in Houston February 5 and continue until February 20. The Summit will feature a Friday night private viewing event for conference attendees, at which a silent auction for the art pieces will be held to raise money for earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti. The exhibit will be displayed at FotoFest, an international non-profit organization promoting photographic arts and education in Houston, Texas. The exhibit will include photography, video, art and writings of women online.
A variety of topics and categories will be represented, such as community, design, body image, humor, business/professions, food, fashion, travel, politics, religion, grief, sex, infertility, adoption, dads, green practices, taste making and industry trends. To represent the movement, Mom 2.0 is partnering with Shutter Sisters to curate some of the best of what moms are creating online.

The keynote speaker for the 2010 Mom 2.0 Summit will be Gretchen Rubin, pursuer of joy and creator of The Happiness Project.
Her bestselling book The Happiness Project, is an account of the year she spent test-driving the wisdom of the ages, the current scientific studies, and the lessons from popular culture about how to be happier.

The Mom 2.0 conference takes place Feb. 18-20 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston. A private viewing party for conference attendees will take place at FotoFest on the evening of Friday, Feb. 19, at which a silent auction for the art pieces will be held to raise money for earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti.
