Sama Baby is proud to be featured on a site with such impeccable taste and style! This site is full of lots of great products and info. Like this recent post about Kourtney Kardashian’s nursery:

Kourtney Kardashain and her beau Scott Disnick have not yet released photos of baby Mason Dash Disnick’s nursery. But you KNOW we have the inside scoop on this little guy’s digs. One of Kourtney’s first gifts from her mom was an Hermes baby blanket in blue, $580. On Keeping up With the Kardashian’s, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian encouraged Kourtney to paint the baby’s room the same color blue. We also spotted this silver cradle, $595.75, in one of Mason’s debut photos. And while it was not the first crib they selected, Scott Disnick was proud to show his girlfriend the ebony version of the Argington crib, $685, in the nursery.

We love hearing about new moms, thanks AListBaby.net! For more stories like this, and advice on great products visit AListBaby.net One lucky reader from Alistbaby.net will win a Sama white gown and bib! This gown is perfect for lounging, and for mom or dad to make an easy diaper change. Check out LilaGuide.com -The FREE guide for Parents January 28, 2010

Sama Baby can now be found on LilaGuide.com Please check us out, get advice from other parents, write reviews, and see what other people in your area are saying about Sama:  http://www.lilaguide.com/reviews/sama-baby-childrens-clothing-587998.aspx

The Lilaguide (www.lilaguide.com) began when Oli Mittermaier and Elysa Marco had their daughter Delilah (hence the name “lilaguide”), and experienced the panic of being first-time parents. The couple quickly found that the best resource out there was word-of-mouth information from other parents. Every parent seems to have some bit of child-rearing advice, whether it’s about what baby-gear store is the most helpful, or which restaurants tolerate strained carrots on the floor. The couple thought someone should write stuff like this down…

And that’s how the lilaguide was born.

All of the information included in the lilaguide website and books is written by parents for parents. Tens of thousands of moms across the country help produce this insider’s guide to stores, restaurants, service providers, and activities that are a very big part of every parent’s life. And while the guides won’t tell you how to change a diaper or how to get by on little or no sleep (that’s what grandparents are for), they will tell you what other local parents have learned about what your city has to offer — including virtually every baby product you need, from cribs to strollers.

And please be sure to submit your own experiences and opinions. Not only is it what makes the lilaguide guides so useful, it’s also a great way to meet other like-minded parents in your area.

There you have it! We think this site is very useful and Fun!!

One Mom Against Eczema: Reviews Sama Clothing January 25, 2010

Recently Sama was reviewed by Cindy, a woman who is dedicated to providing information to others on how to treat and prevent eczema. Cindy is a Christian, wife, mom, homeschooler, lover of books, animals, learning, laughing and naps! For more information check out her blog: http://onemomagainsteczema.blogspot.com/

Cindy is an expert on the subject. Her latest blog post reads:

I have always noticed that stress can cause more scratching. It has been evident with all our children with eczema that whenever they are upset or worried about something, they start scratching. They each have a particular place to scratch when they are upset. For Baby it is her neck and face, little man scratches his wrists and Eldest starts on his chin when he is worried about something……….. (to continue reading click link below) http://onemomagainsteczema.blogspot.com/

Cindy’s review of Sama is below:

Baby wore her new Sama Baby Outfit to evening Church on Sunday. I failed to notice the first time around that there are cuffs on the sleeves like these that my mother in law sewed onto baby’s footie pjs. It is impossible to find these on anything but infant clothing, I thought that was awesome! You can fold the cuffs over to prevent the child from scratching, which is always good with eczema.

This clothing is so nice – adorable, so soft, clean up very well, very sturdy for my baby who is rough on clothes and makes me feel good to know that they are all organic and carefully prepared to be safe and non-irritating against baby’s sensitive skin. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The only thing that would hold me back is the prices. Honestly, for organic high quality clothes, they are priced very reasonably. The prices are less than what I have seen brand name non-organic clothes for, but with 6 children, we can’t afford to dress them all that well. But I may be able to add a couple pieces to her wardrobe. 🙂

For more on what products are good for children with eczema, how to treat the symptoms, or to ask your question, visit Cindy’s blog. She will kindly answer all of your questions:  http://onemomagainsteczema.blogspot.com/

Come take a walk down One Green Street. Grand Opening This Saturday January 23rd!! January 21, 2010

Filed under: Uncategorized — samababy @ 9:30 am

Don’t miss the Grand Opening of One Green Street, An Organic Lifestyle Destination at 5160 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas 77005. The Sama team will be there! Come join the fun!

The opening will explore a Winter Wonderland theme featuring warm toasty fireplaces by EcoSmart Fire as well as door prizes, beats & eats and a “Green” shopping experience like no other!

Sherry Eichberger, founder of One Green Street, has a vision: “I long for a day,” she says, “where we all live on the same street, the Green Street. People who live on that street are healthier and happier.”

Sherry founded One Green Street after an epiphany that followed a crisis. “Two otherwise healthy men in my neighborhood died of cancer,” she says, with some sadness. “In my heart I felt like those deaths could have been avoided.”

So, she began a years-long study and personal journey that both educated her and stunned her. She found that there are healthy alternatives but oftentimes the buying public either doesn’t know about those alternatives or is never offered them in the first place.

One Green Street is her answer, and it has become her mission. The amazing store and website will offer healthy alternatives in a widely varied roster of products-everything from bedding to cosmetics. It promises to make the decision to buy and use healthy products a cool and hip one.

And, a visitor will always feel special. “I want people to feel welcome in our store…welcome to visit, to ask questions, to learn with us as we discover more about what is best for us, she says. And I hope that they’ll find that what is good for them is also fun.”

We at Sama agree with Sherry’s vision, so that’s why you can find the latest Sama products at her store!

Everybody will be talking about this event long after it has passed. We hope to see you there!
